19. T r a n s m i s s i o n oil
T h e o n l y s e r v i c i n g for y o u to d o is to c h e c k a n d fill the
t r a n s m i s s i o n l u b r i c a t i n g oil. T h e t r a n s m i s s i o n dip
s t i c k is l o c a t e d right a b o v e the k i c k s t a r t e r . T o c h e c k
the l e v e l , w a r m the e n g i n e up for s e v e r a l m i n u t e s ,
s c r e w t h e d i p stick c o m p l e t e l y out a n d t h e n j u s t rest
t h e stick in t h e h o l e .
N o t e :
W h e n c h e c k i n g t r a n s m i s s i o n oil level w i t h t h e d i p
stick, let t h e u n s c r e w e d d i p s t i c k just rest o n t h e c a s e
t h r e a d s . A l s o , be sure the m a c h i n e is p o s i t i o n e d
s t r a i g h t up a n d o n b o t h w h e e l s .
