2.3 User interface

Two rotary knobs are used by pilot to interact with the Fenix unit. To get more understanding
for
them
use,

2.3.1 Bottom push-rotary knob

Next following function are possible with use of bottom press-rotary knob:
 Scrolling will change pages or change values in edit fields.
 Short press for confirmation, entering sub-menus snd confirming edit values.
 2 second long press will offer pilot a set navbox dialog
 4 second long press will show turn off dialogue

2.3.2 Top push-rotary knob

Next following function are possible with use of top press-rotary knob:
 Changing volume / zoom on primary pages (depends on page type)
 Short press will exit sub menus.

2.4 Software update

For more info you can contact RC Electronics support via the following email address
support@rcelectronics.com
of the Fenix. In most short time, out staff will provide you with software update file.
All required device info can be obtained in sub-page Info. (sub-paragraph 1.8.2.8)
After receiving update file, copy it to dedicated micro SD card and follow next steps ins sub-
paragraph 1.8.2.4.
Before and during software update, keep external main input power present. If shutdown
state is occurred during software update, it could lead to data corruption. Please contact
