FENIX – user's manual

1 Introduction

The Fenix unit is ultra slim digital vario navigation unit. It is IGC certified flight recorder (Level 1)
with ENL recording.
For user to interact with the Fenix unit needs to use only two rotary knobs.
The Fenix is featuring one main 3.5" sunshine visible display and secondary side display. All air
data, pages and information are displayed in clear way on both displays to be easily readable.
With a build-in multi language voice module, the Fenix offers the pilot voice warnings, alerts, ...
Bellow is the short list of the Fenix functionality:
 IGC certified by latest security requirements (3072 bit unique signature made to last)
 WiFi and Bluetooth module
 GNSS receiver supporting GPS, Galileo, Glonass and BeiDou frequency band
 Extension port (For micro switches and other extension peripheries)

 Double rotary-push knobs for user-device interface
 Internal 16GB memory (190.000 h of logging with 1s logging interval)
