FENIX – user's manual
2 Basic operation
In the following description we will provide more details of the Fenix unit. We will show you the
easiest way to start up using your new device and its feature.
2.1 First time powering up
To turn on the device, pess and hold lower knob until Fenix logo appears on the main screen.
Once turned on, next following screens will appear on main display:
Fenix intro screen
Basic initial setup page, where user will set next options:
Select Pilot – select pilot from internal database.
Set Elevation – set elevation off take-off.
Set QNH – set daily QNH pressure.
After first two screens, some warnings may appear, letting information to user for limited
operation capability or device hardware interruption. Please see sub-paragraph 1.8.1.4 for
additional information's.
