4.4 Storage

Each iSave is tested before shipment and therefore holds water.
Storage temperature: 1°C to +70°C (33°F to 158°F) – provided that the pump is drained of
fluid and stored "plugged".
Frost protection is required at temperatures below 1°C. Danfoss recommends using DOW-
FROST from DOW Chemical Company or Chillsafe mono propylene glycol from Arco Chemi-
cal Company.
If the iSave is protected against frost, the storage temperature can be: -40°C to +70°C (-40°F
to 158°F)
• The iSave is NOT delivered frost-protected from the factory.
• Only remove caps from the openings of the iSave at the time of installation.

4.5 Outdoor Storage

For outdoor storage cover the iSave (set) with waterproof material.
