After operating the mains switch the instruments is ready for
working.
The display digitizes the number of the counted colonies.
The operating power for releasing a counting impulse can be
changed with a screw driver (screw at the back panel of the
instrument).
The BZG 30 has been set to a medium sensitivity at the
factory.
Skilled users who want to achieve a high counting frequency set
a high sensitivity, users with a low counting frequency set a lower
sensitivity.
Setting of the high sensitivity: Turn anticlockwise.
Pressing the Reset key sets the display to zero.
Pressure on the counting disk produces electronic signals which
are evaluated by the electronics and displayed.
Background can be changed by pulling out and putting in up to
the stop (light/dark).
