OPERATION

Calibration of the Seed Box

Seed box may be calibrated for unlisted seeds as follows:
See Figure 2-6.
1. Raise machine and lock in transport position.
2. Place a tarp under machine to collect seed.
3. Turn the 3/4 Hexagon Sprocket Shaft
counterclockwise (CCW).
279 Revolutions for 5 Foot Seeders.
232 Revolutions for 6 Foot Seeders.
4. Weigh seed and multiply by 10 for 13 Tooth Driver
Sprocket and by 20 for 26 Tooth Driver Sprocket to
get approximate planting rate in pounds per acre.

Planting Rates for Seed Box

1. See Figure 2-7. Rates are based upon using 13
Tooth Driver Sprocket. Double these values when
using 26 Tooth Driver Sprocket.
2. Rates are intended as a guide only. Variation in size
and cleanliness will affect rates.
Check acreage & lbs. of seed used for best results.
