Refilling Ink and
Replacing Consumables

Disposing of Used Consumables

If using the printer in an office or other business,
dispose of used consumables in accordance with laws
and regulations, such as by contracting an industrial
waste disposal company.
If using the printer in a domestic situation, place these
in a plastic bag, then dispose of in accordance with
laws and regulations as well as regional ordinances,
and as directed by local government.

site.

Checking how much ink remains

Check all ink tanks visually to confirm the amount of
ink remaining.

Important:
If you continue to use the printer when the
amount of ink remaining is below the bottom line,
a malfunction could occur.

Refilling ink

Important:
To keep the printer in optimum condition, do not
repeatedly fill the tanks with small amounts of ink.
Maintenance

Open the ink tank cover.

Open the ink tank caps to refill the ink.

Important:
Make sure the color of the ink tank matches
the color of the ink you want to refill.

Remove the ink bottle from the bag.

While holding the ink bottle upright, turn the
cap slowly to remove it.
