3.5.5 Charge Nitrogen

Context



Procedure
Step 1 Connect the pressure gauge, pipeline, and nitrogen steel vessel. A reducing valve is
recommended to install to the outlet of the nitrogen steel vessel. The outlet pressure must be
no more than 3.0 MPa.
If the outlet pressure is more than 3.0 MPa, some parts of the system may be damaged.
Step 2 Check whether the low-temperature component is installed on the outdoor side.

Issue 10 (2019-01-15)
The direction of the arrow on the ball valves of the connecting pipe for indoor unit and
outdoor unit is parallel to the direction of the copper pipes. The ball valve is open.
The measure range of pressure gauge must be greater than 4.0 MPa. The tolerance range of
leather hose must be greater than 4.5 MPa.
Do not remove the pressure gauge and leather hose during charging nitrogen and remove
them after the procedure is over.
If no low-temperature component is installed on the outdoor side, charge nitrogen into
the system from the high pressure needle valve and low pressure needle valve at the
same time.
