DUO 680 Double-rotor Rake DESIGNATION In-line rake DUO 680 is designed to rake up green forage, dried forage and hay. Rake DUO 680 works properly with tractors of 2.0 class with power from 50 HP. Rake can only be used by personnel, who learned the machine’s technical specification, dangers which go together with its...
The rake is equipped with adjustable swath guard both on front and rear raking assembly (20, 15). Both assemblies are guided onto carts (14, 19) Well-proven design and quality materials ensure high reliability and durability of SaMASZ machines.
PTO shafts of other brands with equivalent technical parameters may be used on the SaMASZ permission. We congratulate you on the purchase of your new SaMASZ rakes and wish you much pleasure and the very best experience resulting from its operation.
Operator's manual DUO 680 Double-rotor Rake SAFETY ADVICE AND WARNING 4.1. Safety rules and regulations Front axis of the tractor should be well weighted to keep the balance. If need be, use front wheel weights, Any operation with the hydraulic lift lever should be conducted from the operator's seat; DO...
Use only the rake's manufacturer recommended PTO shafts. 4.5. Residual risk Despite the fact, that SaMASZ company – the manufacturer of the rake takes the responsibility for the rakes design and manufacturing, in order to eliminate hazard, certain risk when operating the machine is unavoidable.

Use genuine manufacturer recommended tines only. 6.2. Setting rotor lifting sequence DUO 680 In-line Rake's rotors can be set for proper lifting sequence. It is possible thanks to adjustable chokes located on rake's linkage. Chokes are part of rake's hydraulic assembly and control oil flow for powering each of four rake cylinders.
Operator's manual DUO 680 Double-rotor Rake Choke 4 Controls front lifted tiller speed. Winding down causes tiller lifting and lowering speed reduction. Winding up causes increase in speed. The most optimum setting of chokes should firstly result in parallel lifting of front rotor which is particularly important at field's edge and causes the front rotor to stop operating earlier.
