ATTERIES
The robotic scrubber's battery is designed to last approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes on the lowest
settings. Charge the batteries when not in operation.
The following charging instructions are intended only for recommended batteries and external chargers. Use
of alternate batteries and/or battery chargers is prohibited. Contact customer service for recommendations, if
needed.
Dispose of components such as batteries, hazardous fl uids such as antifreeze, and oil in an
environmentally safe way according to local waste disposal regulations.
Perform the following steps to charge the batteries:
1. Park the machine on a fl at, dry surface in a well-
ventilated area.
2. Turn the ignition key to the left (counter-
clockwise) to turn off the machine and remove
the key.
3. Lift the operator seat and use the support stand
to prop open for ventilation.
4. Connect the external charger's DC cord into the
battery charger receptacle on the machine, just
below the operator seat.
5. Insert the external charger's AC power supply
cord into a properly grounded, standard outlet
(120V; 8 A).

6. The external charger will begin to charge
the batteries (fl ashing green light), and will
automatically shut off once batteries are fully
charged (solid green light).
NOTE
:
THE MACHINE CANNOT OPERATE WHEN
CHARGING.
7. When charging is complete, fi rst disconnect
the AC power supply cord from the outlet, then
disconnect the DC cord from the machine.
8. Store the external charger in a dry, well-
ventilated space away from excessive heat,
walkways, etc.
NOTE
:
CHARGE THE MACHINE AT LEAST ONCE
A WEEK. LACK OF CHARGING FOR A WEEK
OR MORE MAY PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE
BATTERIES.
