Broadcast reception
This section show s you how to receive radio broadcasts. You
can store up to 40 stations in the memory and recall them

w ith a single touch of the key.
Preparation
Sw itch the ON/ STANDBY key to ON.

Receiving a broadcast station (other than RDS stations)

Sw itch the amplifier input to the tuner input.

Select the broadcast band.

The tuner sw itches over as follow s each time you press the key w hile
receiving a FM broadcast.

: AUTO lit (auto tuning)
2 HIGH BLEN D
: AUTO lit, HIGH BLEND LED lit (auto tuning)
(available for the FM band w ith KTF-3010 only)
3 M AN UAL/ M ON O: AUTO not lit (manual tuning)
÷ Usually, set the sw itch to AUTO (auto tuning).
Select HIGH BLEND (available w ith the KTF-3010 only) or M ANUAL
w hen the radio w aves are w eak and there is a lot of noise
interference.(The stereo broadcasting is received in monaural dur-
ing manual tuning.)

Each time the ACTIVE RECEPTION key is pressed, the setting
changes.
1 ON (AR indicator lit ): w hen sw itching the IF BAND, RF ATT and
ANT A/ B functions automatically.
2 OFF (AR indicator not lit ): w hen sw itching these functions manually.

÷ Usually, set ACTIVE RECEPTION key to ON.
÷ FM broadcasts are received in the optimum reception conditions.

Auto tuning : The next station found is tuned automatically.

tune in on a station.
