PTY search
By specifying the type of program (genre) you w ant to listen to, the
tuner automatically searches for a station w hich is currently broad-
casting a program of the specified type.
With certain receiving conditions, if may take more than 1 min-
utes until the search completes.
Preparation
Searching for a desired program type (PTY search)

Select the PTY search mode.

Select the desired program type.
Use program type table on the right for your convenience.

With the TUN IN G/ M ULTI CON TROL knob, the desired program
type among 29 program types is selected in the order.

If no PTY data is available, or if the station is not an RDS station,
