This chapter contains an overview of errata that are known in connection with the
JX3-BN-EC.
Errors FLOAT values (floating point numbers) of JX3 I/O modules can-
not be accessed via registers and SDOs.
Access to FLOAT values via PDOs or the module registers
0000 ... 0009 is not affected by this.
Effect This error currently only affects the internal oscilloscope recording
function in module register 9744 (type: FLOAT) of temperature
values on modules JX3-THI2-RTD-xx and JX3-THI2-TC-xx. If
FLOAT values are accessed via the application program or the
JetSym oscilloscope (device-internal mode), incorrect values are
read out.
Currently, no other effects are known, since no other FLOAT val-
ues are used in JX3 I/O modules.
Workaround Since temperatures are updated at intervals of 10 ms or longer,
the recording can also be done as follows:
■ in the application program of the controller by direct access to
the temperature data via PDOs or module registers
■ In the JetSym oscilloscope, do not use the internal mode but
the live mode.
