«DIAG.» Mode
• When the M-button 3 is pressed, it briefly displays how many
measurements are stored in the «DIAG.» mode, e.g. N=20 BN.
− One measurement cycle always stores 2 readings.
− N=20 indicates 10 measurement cycles in the memory (without
the first day measurements).
− In accordance with the ESH recommendations, the first day
measurements are not included, since this is the familiarisation
phase.
• Subsequently the average of all values «A» is displayed.
− This average is the average home blood pressure calcu-
lated exactly to the ESH guidelines.
• The average is not displayed «- -», if the number of measurements
BN is less than 12 (meaning that at least 6 measurement cycles
must be taken).
• Pressing the M-button again displays the average of all morning
values and press it again to show the average of all evening
values.
• All individual readings will be displayed by repeatedly pressing
the M-button.
− The symbols AQ or AR show, if it is a morning or evening
value.

Select the «USUAL» mode to take and store measurements at
any times (outside the time range of the «DIAG.» mode, for
any additional measurement or after completion of the diag-
nosis phase).
Further measurements in the «DIAG.» mode are only possible,
after the values have been evaluated by a doctor and the
memory deleted.
«USUAL» Mode
• When the M-button 3 is pressed, it briefly displays how many
measurements are stored in the «USUAL» mode, e.g. N=63 BN.
• Subsequently the average of all values «A» is displayed.
• All individual readings will be displayed by repeatedly pressing
the M-button.
Pay attention that the maximum memory capacity of 250 is not
exceeded. When the memory is full, the old values are
automatically overwritten with new ones. Values should
be evaluated by a doctor before the memory capacity is
reached – otherwise data will be lost.

Clear all values

The data of the two memories «DIAG.» and «USUAL» can be deleted
separately.
