4. Commissioning

Status bits

The valve terminal always makes 4 status bits
(= inputs) available for diagnostic purposes, if the
valve terminal is fitted with at least one input
module (4 or 8-inputs).
PLEASE NOTE
• The 4 status bits always increase the
number of inputs to be configured by 4.
• Valve terminals without inputs do not have
any status bits.
Please refer to chapter 5 "Diagnostics/error
treatment" for the function and position of the
status bits.

Module consistency

The valve terminal supports the following variant-
s in module consistency:
•
over the complete length of the valve terminal
•
over the selected format (byte/word).
