MAINTENANCE
14. Open the drain valve (3), drain plugs (4) and (6), then
drain the coolant.
15. Close the drain valve (3) and drain plugs (4) and (6).
16. Install the cover (5) on the bottom of the radiator.
17. Add Non-Amine Engine Coolant (AF-NAC) through the
coolant filler port up to the mouth of the port.
For the concentration of Non-Amine Engine Coolant (AF-
NAC) , see "Coolant density table".
18. Run the engine at low idle for 5 minutes to remove the air
from the coolant, then run at high idle for a further 5 mi-
nutes.
At this time, keep both of the R.H. and L.H. radiator caps
removed.
19. Drain the coolant in reservoir tank.
20. Clean the inside of reservoir tank.
21. Add Non-Amine Engine Coolant (AF-NAC) to the middle
between FULL and LOW.
22. Stop the engine.
23. After approximately 3 minutes, add Non-Amine Engine
Coolant (AF-NAC) up to the mouth of the coolant filler port.
24. Tighten the radiator cap.

METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN TRANSMISSION CASE, ADDING OIL

Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury.
Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
Perform this operation when ooze of oil on the transmission case is recognized or when oil in the coolant is rec-
ognized.
