E. Operation of sub-unit Filter PCB, Z2 (see Figure 7)
The filters PCB is connected by a flexible circuit to functional connector
J1.
This PCB manages:
- the interface between J1 and the other RPU PCBs,
- the interconnection between the Z1 power supply PCB and the CPU PCB Z3,
using inter-PCB connectors.
(1) Filtering and protecting the +28VAVION
- The input +28VAVION, OVAVION is protected against:
. power surges, by 2 tumble diodes
. electromagnetic disturbance by two LC filters.
(2) Filtering inputs and outputs
All input/output connections, (hot point and cold point) are filtered by
LRC low pass filtering cells; the cut-off frequency is defined in accor-
dance with the type of input/output.
