2. Description
A. Outside Description (see Figure 2)
The Receiver Processor Unit comes in the form of a parallelepiped case made
up of two parts assembled using 8 screws (9):
- The lower part, known as the HF frame (8),
- The upper part, known as the CPU/filter frame (7)
The RPU is secured to the aircraft using four M6 screws (not supplied), which
cross the 4 flanges (10), located symmetrically on each side of the lower
part.
The upper part (CPU/filter frame) is closed off by a cover (1) secured using
13 screws (2); a second cover (5), secured using six screws (6) provides
direct access to the two batteries (3) and (4),
Connection to the ACU antenna or the PAU preamplifier is made using connector
J5 (12).
Connection to the aircraft mains and the other aircraft equipment is made
using connector J1 (11).
