(9) Asic COMA
This circuit receives, transmits and stores ARINC data.
The COMA circuit is connected to:
- Data bus D (0/31),
- Address bus A (0/25),
- Service bus SB.
ARINC interface circuits
The COMA circuit provides:
- Access to the EEPROM and RAM memories,
- ARINC communications management.
(10) ARINC 429 input/output interface
This interface is used to match 2 ARINC input lines: A.REC1, A.REC.2
and 1 double ARINC output line: A.EM1 and A.EM2.
In order to test the ARINC lines, wire is used to reloop the unused
inputs on the Asic COMA.
The transmission speed of the ARINC lines is defined by program :
A.REC1 and A.REC2 : 12.5 KHz,
A.EM1 and A.EM2 : 100 KHz.
(11) Program pin input interface
The CPU PCB has 5 optional program pin inputs: PP1 to PP5
These inputs are matched by a 3-state buffer circuit, the outputs of
which are connected to data bus D (16/23).
