(9) Power supplies provided by the HF PCB
Starting with the following voltages: +5VHF, +15 VHF, delivered by power
supply PCB Z1, the HF PCB provides the following voltages:
(a) Internal voltages
+1.6 VDC, obtained after filtering the +5VHF
+10VANA, + 10VHF, obtained after filtering the +15VHF
(b)
External voltages
-15VPILOTE, after filtering the - 15VHF, is used by the Z5 clock PCB.
+12VPREAMP, after filtering of the + 15VHF, is used to power the
optional preamplifier (PAU); it is transmitted by the same wire as
the RF input signal.
(10) Monitoring and test signals
The HF PCB transmits the following signals to the CPU on PCB Z3:
- PLL.ASSER (from PLL1: or logic from UP and DWN);
- PRES.ANT: antenna presence
- CAGTST: AGC test,
- SURPILO: monitoring of the Z5 clock PCB: this signal is obtained from
IPILOTE current, from Z5; it is transformed into voltage by a load
resistance (0.5 ohm), then amplified (G= -20) in order to form the
SURPILO signal.
