TOF/Spot
7.3
Dynamic universal output
The TOF/Spot features a universal (relay) output. In case
of the dynamic universal output this relay will switch with
a frequency of 1kHz. With the logic selector the signal can
be change to a frequency by object detected (logic selector
connected to U
, Figure 24)

Installation

It is recommended to carry out the system installation
according to the following steps:
1. Check if the scope of delivery is complete.
2. Mark clearly that the modifying system is out of service
and switch off main power and door control unit.
3. The installation place needs to fulfill the criteria detailed
in Chapter 5.1.
4. Drill a hole at the required position (see drilling template
for flush and surface mounting).
5. If needed, mount the mounting bracket.
6. Snap in the sensor at the defined position.
7. Connect the TOF/Spot with the controller.

Mounting of snap-in housing

The mounting hole recommended for flush mounting is 30
to 31 mm. The sheet thickness cannot be greater 3 mm.

10. Start-up

1. Switch on mains and power up the door control unit.
2. Check if LED lights up.
3. Check the distance setting and the reaction of the
sensor, including the status LED, by placing a hand into
the detection area at different heights.
