Worn or damaged paint nozzle
socket.
Worn or damaged needle.
Needle does not seal tightly
(control air line is not vented).
Elastic pressure piece is set too
low.
Elastic pressure piece is dirty
and dented.
Elastic pressure piece sticks out
too far.
Elastic pressure piece can be
turned manually.
Corrective action
Replace paint nozzle.
Replace needle.
Check nozzle.
Remove the high-
performance automatic spray
gun AGMD, adjust the elastic
pressure piece, and tighten
the lock screw.
Replace damaged pressure
piece.
Remove the high-
performance automatic spray
gun AGMD, adjust the elastic
pressure piece, and tighten
the lock screw.
Remove the high-
performance automatic spray
gun AGMD, adjust the elastic
pressure piece, and tighten
the lock screw.
