41. Adjust the time-base delay-time multiplier to posi-
tion the S1 measurement point directly under the positive
portion of the square wave.
42. The readout should read approx imately +4.00 V.

S2 -S1 Measurement Mode
43. Use the same setup procedure as described previ-
ously under S1 Measurement Mode, step 31.
44. Set the delaying time-base sweep rate to 200 micro-
seconds per division.
45. Set the MODE switch to OUT
~:2-S1'
and the
COUPLING switch to OUT DC.
46. Adjust the delay-time multiplier to p0sition the S1
measurement point directly under the vertic

form zero-volt level.

47. Adjust the time-base sweep rate to position the S2
measurement point directly under the vertical-display wave-
form four-volt level.
48. The readout should read approximately +4.00 V
(the difference voltage between the S1 and S2 measurement
points). See Fig. 3-3A.
49. Adjust the delay-time multiplier to position the S1
and S2 measurement points as shown in Fig. 3-3B.
50. The readout voltage should read approximately
-400 V.
GENERAL OPERATING INFORMATION
Signal Connections
M2 INPUT. In general, 50-ohm coaxial cables offer a
convenient means of connecting signals to the M2 INPUT;
however, the vertical sensitivity can be extended by a factor
of 10 by using the P6055 probe. See M2 Operation Using
P6055 Probe.
