1 Insert the wire into the wire feeder as specified by the manufacturer.
2 Press the "Current-less wire feed" trigger at the wire feed unit until the wire
emerges from the contact tip.
NOTE
• As the ABIMIG
welding system, the operating instructions of the welding components,
such as the welding power source, must be observed during operation.
1 Press the trigger on the handle and keep it pressed = contact is made.
2 Release the trigger = contact is interrupted.
3 2- or 4-cycle mode depending on the mode of action of the welding power
source
1 Wait until the shielding gas post-flow time has expired and then switch off
the power source.
2 Close the valve of the shielding gas cylinder.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
For the entire duration of maintenance, installation, dismounting and repair
work, the following instructions must be adhered to:
• Switch off the power source and close off the gas supply.
• Pull the mains plug.
1 Unscrew the cable assembly on the machine side and bring it into a
stretched position.
2 Loosen the fixation of the liner or PA liner nipple at the end of the machine
and pull out or replace the liner or PA liner.
3 Remove wear parts from the torch neck and unscrew rotating or
changeable torch neck.
