To Print What Is On The Screen
Explanation Of Task: You may sometimes want a printed record
(often called a hard copy) of what is displayed on your monitor
screen. If you have a printer, you can do this.
Procedure:
Make sure your printer is connected in accordance with the
instructions provided by its manufacturer. Turn on the printer.
If you are using a serial printer, you will need to use the MODE
command to set up the computer for printer use (see the Disk
Operating System manual).
Press and hold:
(shift)
Press:
(iGG)
Release both keys.
NOTE
IF YOU DO THIS WITHOUT A PRINTER CON-
NECTED, YOUR COMPUTER WILL SEEM TO STOP
WORKING. IF THIS HAPPENS, WAIT ONE MINUTE;
YOUR COMPUTER SHOULD RETURN TO NORMAL
OPERATION, AND YOU CAN PROCEED. NOTHING
IN THE RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY WILL HAVE
BEEN LOST.
IF, AFTER ONE MINUTE, YOUR COMPUTER IS
