The activity indicator on the diskette drive will light as the
diskette is being formatted. Then the following message and
prompt will appear on your monitor screen:

THIS IS NOT
AN
INDICATION THAT THE DRIVE
OR DISKETTE IS DEFECTIVE. IT IS SIMPLY
THE COMPUTER'S WAY OF KEEPING TRACK
OF WHERE ON THE DISKETTE IT SHOULD AND
SHOULD NOT STORE YOUR FILES.
