The main circuit board of the computer provides sockets for the op-
tional installation of additional memory integrated circuits. These in-
tegrated circuits come in small modules that can be easily plugged
into the sockets. Two types of modules are available-the 64K type
and the 256K type. Random access memory (RAM) can be in-
creased to 256 kilobytes by the installation of 64K modules, and to
640 kilobytes by the installation of 256K modules.
NOTE
IF 64K MODULES ARE USED, MEMORY CAN BE
EXPANDED BEYOND 256 KILOBYTES BY THE USE
OF A MEMORY EXPANSION CARD. SUCH A CARD
CANNOT BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH 256K
MODULES.
To install additional memory modules, you will need the following:
