Slope - Select a trigger input slope value from the Slope drop-down
list. The following options are available:
Positive - Rising edge
Negative - Falling edge
Sweep Mode - Select the trigger sweep value from the Sweep Mode
drop-down list. The following options are available:
Auto - When a trigger event does not occur in a certain time, the
instrument automatically forces a trigger, which causes the
instrument to sweep.
Triggered - When a trigger event occurs, instrument will sweep.
Holdoff Type - Select an option from the Holdoff Type drop-down list.
The following options are available:
Normal - Once the hold off time is elapsed, the M8131A waits for a
trigger and then it triggers only after the trigger is received.
Above - Ignore triggers until the signal is above the threshold value
(for negative slope) for hold off time. Once the hold off time is
elapsed, the M8131A triggers the signal.
Below - Ignore triggers until the signal is below the threshold value
(for positive slope) for hold off time. Once the hold off time is
elapsed, the M8131A triggers the signal.
Holdoff Time - The time period for which any trigger will not work. No
trigger is received during that time count.
Thresholds - Enter the threshold values for the following:
Trigger In
Channel 1
Channel 2
Channel 3
Channel 4
