Adapting system parameters with CheckKon

Diagnostic mode

A password is required for CheckKon for setting the system
parameters and for transmitting the modifications to the
Checkbox (Function Modify system"). You can obtain your
password via the service hotline +49 / 711 / 347−1610. The
function Observe system" can be used without a password.
1. Install CheckKon on your diagnostic PC. Notes on installa
tion can be found in the software manual.
2. Connect the Checkbox at the DIAG connection with the
diagnostic PC (see chapter 3.4). Connect the devices only
when the power supplies are switched off.
Start CheckKon when the Checkbox has been switched on.
When Checkkon is started, it carries out a system test and
switches the Checkbox to the diagnostic mode.
Please note
In diagnostic mode the Checkbox transmits additional
information via the diagnostic interface. During the trans
mission time no parts are checked.
Do not operate the Checkbox in diagnostic mode with

the full rate of parts.
In this way you can prevent parts from passing the actua
tor positions unchecked.
1. Adapt the Checkbox to your system requirements with the
system parameters in the menu [Window] [System para
meters]. Note also the instructions in the following
chapters and in the software manual.
The most important system parameters are shown by
CheckKon in the menu [Window] [System parameters] sym
bol Only important parameters." Make sure that these
parameters are adapted to your application.
