When the "Expansion/safety kit" is used, the outlet of the safety
valve should be connected to a suitable collection and eva-
cuation system. The manufacturer of the storage cylinder is not
responsible for any flooding caused by the intervention of the
safety valve.
For the installation of the kit, see the instructions coming with
it.

The selection and the installation of the system components
are the responsibility of the installer, who must operate in
accordance with good practice regulations and current le-
gislation.

The systems charged with anti-freeze obligate the use of
water disconnect switches.

System filling and emptying

The BOLLITORE 120 Lt appliance has two circuits:
− Primary (coil side)
− Secondary (domestic hot water side)
3.7.1

Filling

Before filling, make sure that the that the coil and storage cylin-
der (1) taps are closed.
To fill the primary circuit (coil side) see the instruction booklet
of the heat generator with which the storage cylinder is used.

To fully de-aerate the circuit open the manual and automa-
tic vent valves.
To fill the secondary circuit (domestic hot water side) open the
interception devices of the water circuit and fill slowly to allow
the air to come out of the storage cylinder.

To facilitate the deaeration and cleaning of the domestic hot
water circuit, keep the tap furthest away open for a few mi-
nutes.
3.7.2

Emptying

It is possible to empty the primary circuit and the secondary cir-
cuit together or separately.
Before emptying:
− cut off the electrical supply by turning the main system
switch and that of the storage cylinder to "off";
