    • Do not operate SC1/HDU or any agricultural equipment while under the influence of alcohol or an illegal substance. • Remain in the operator’s position or a safe working distance away from the booms at all times when SC1/HDU is engaged.

    Ensure C1000 software version is 3.1.2.150512 or greater prior to installation. Contact your equipment dealer for more information. Before installing the SC1/HDU system, park the machine where the ground is level, clean, and dry. Turn off the machine and leave it turned off for the duration of the installation process.

    If SmarTrax is installed on the machine, remove the SmarTrax harness. FIGURE 1. SmarTrax Node Harness to be Removed and Machine Access Panel 2. Route the two 12-pin Deutsch connectors labeled “HDU” on the SC1/HDU cable (P/N 115-4010-147) into the machines cab, through the access hole.

    CHAPTER 4 INSTALL THE SC1/HDU NODE SC1/HDU INSTALLATION 1. Install the HDU (P/N 063-0173-887) and the SC1 (P/N 063-0173-990) on the SC1/HDU mounting plate using the provided 1/4” - 20 bolts and 1/4”-20 standoffs. FIGURE 7.     4. Install the HDU mounting bracket utilizing the bolts removed in the previous step. 5. Plug the connectors labeled “HDU” on the SC1/HDU harness into the appropriate connectors on the HDU. 6. Plug the connectors labeled “SC1” into the appropriate connectors on the SC1.

    CAB COMPONENT INSTALLATION 4. Connect the RIGHT, PORT 2-TOP connector to the top coil of the stack on the steering valve. 5. Connect the LEFT, PORT 2-BOTTOM connector to the bottom coil of the stack on the steering valve. 6. Connect the black 12-pin Deutsch connector on the valve harness to the mating Valve Bulkhead connector of the HDU harness (P/N 115-4010-147) installed at the machine’s bulkhead earlier in the procedure.
