8.2 Symptoms

The most commonly occurring symptoms are described below. All symptoms are grouped by the situation where they
occur most often.
1. Mowing
2. Searching

44 - Troubleshooting
Cause
There is an object in the way of the
product preventing it from entering the
charging station.
The baseplate is bent.
The contact between the charging
strips and contact strips may be poor
and the product has made a number of
attempts to charge.
There is an object in the way of the
product preventing it from leaving the
charging station.
The product slides on the baseplate.
The battery is being charged with too
high current.
Unknown combination of software ver-
sions.
Invalid combination of circuit boards.
New loop signal successfully changed. No action.
Failed to change loop signal.
Cause
The product is set to the
area operating mode.
The timer setting prevents the product
from operating.
The products clock is incorrect.
Action
Remove the object.
Ensure that the baseplate is placed on
level ground.
Put the product in the charging station
and check that the charging strips and
contact strips make good contact.
Remove the object.
Clean the baseplate.
Fault in the power supply, or wrong
type of power supply or charging sta-
tion is being used.
Program the product with the most re-
cent main program. Refer to
on page 15 .
Replace the circuit boards to a valid
combination.
Try several times to create a new loop
signal. If the problem remains, replace
the main circuit board. Refer to
ate a new loop signal in the Operator's
manual and
board on page 23 .
Action
Secondary
Put the product in the charging station.
This behavior is normal and no further
