5 Troubleshooting

Problem
Blows poorly
Motor turns unevenly

5 Troubleshooting
Solution
Clean the spark-arrest screen
according to Dismantling the exhaust
system on page 23.
Clean the drain hose and nipple as
shown in Cleaning the drain hose on
page 37.
Place the piston in the upper posi-
tion. Clean the exhaust port using a
chisel. Blow clean.
Adjust the carburettor according to
Basic carburettor settings on
page 22.
Clean the spark-arrest screen
according to Dismantling the exhaust
system on page 23.
Adjust the carburettor according to
Basic carburettor settings on
page 22.
Clean the air filter according to Dis-
mantling the air filter on page 20.
Clean the spark plug with a wire
brush.
