2 Safety precautions

2.1 General instructions

This workshop manual describes how to troubleshoot
and repair the blower, as well as its design and
function.
This workshop manual is written for personnel who
are presumed to have general knowledge of blower
repair and service.
Do not attempt to repair the blower without first
having read and understood the contents of this
workshop manual.
The shop where the blower is repaired should be
equipped with safety devices in accordance with local
regulations.
In this workshop manual, the boxes shown below are
found at appropriate places:
WARNING!
The warning box warns of the
risk of personal injury if the
instructions are not followed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
This box warns of material damage if
the instructions are not followed.
The machine is type-approved with regards to safety,
in accordance with the current legal requirements,
with the equipment specified in the instructions.
Assembly with other equipment, accessories or
replacement parts not approved by Husqvarna can
result in the safety requirements not being fulfilled, as
well as the person performing the repairs being held
responsible.
