This section provides an overview of the physical equipment in a single-rack DLm8500
and a multi-rack DLm8500.
A DLm8500 single-rack configuration is composed of one rack containing:
1 or 2 VTEs
l
1 or 2 1 GbE switches
l
1 or 2 10 GbE switches
l
One Data Domain (DD) (DD6300, DD6800 single or HA, DD9300 single or HA,

9800 single or HA)
Note
Despite the differences in weight, the physical dimensions of all the cabinets are the
same.
