A DLm8500 mutli-rack configuration is composed of:
A VTEC cabinet
l
Up to two Data Domain (DD) cabinets (DD6800, DD9300, or DD9800)
l
DLm supports DAEs with 2, 3, or 4 TB drives.
CAUTION
The DLm8500 VTEC and Data Domain cabinet equipment enclosures and power
systems are designed to support DLm8500 system equipment only. EMC does
not support any other components in these cabinets, and recommends that you
do not install any additional equipment in the DLm8500 cabinets.

storage.
