Chapter 4: UEFI BIOS

4.7 Boot

Use this feature to configure Boot Settings:
Boot Mode Select
Use this feature to select the type of device that the system is going to boot from. The options
are Legacy, UEFI, and Dual.
Fixed Boot order Priorities
This feature prioritizes the order of bootable devices from which the system will boot. Choose
an entry from top to bottom to select devices.
Legacy Boot Option #1~#8
These features display when
Boot mode select
is set to Legacy. The options are Hard Disk,
CD/DVD, USB Hard Disk, USB CD/DVD, USB Key, USB Floppy, USB LAN, and Network.
UEFI Boot Option #1~#9
These features display when
Boot mode select
is set to UEFI. The options are UEFI Hard
Disk, UEFI CD/DVD, UEFI USB Hard Disk, UEFI USB CD/DVD, UEFI USB Key, UEFI USB
Floppy, UEFI USB Lan, UEFI Network, and UEFI AP.
DUAL Boot Option #1~#17
These features display when
Boot mode select
is set to DUAL. The options contain all options
from UEFI and Legacy boot modes.
