5 Pneumatic connection of miniature valves
Connect the pneumatic supply and exhaust tubing to the
following ports:
Sub-base with ...
... 2/2-way valve, closed
... 3/2-way valve, closed
... 3/2-way valve, open
Please note
S If necessary, place a suitable seal under each screw
connector or silencer in order to avoid leakage.
S If elbow screw connectors or multiple distributors are
used, the airflow will be reduced slightly.
S Seal the unused pneumatic ports with blind plugs
(e.g. connection 3/11 if 2/2-way valves are fitted).
In this way, you can prevent dirt from entering the
pneumatic components and you will comply with
protection class IP40.
