6 Troubleshooting

This section describes the most common troubleshooting solutions for the Pannoramic® products. If
any problem arises that does not have solution in this manual, contact the service personnel.
The product does not start
Power supply is interrupted
1. Make sure that the main switch of the internal power supply is on.
2. Check cable connections.
Poor image quality
Imaging error (for example, chromatic aberrations)
Do not modify the camera driver settings, as the default factory
settings give the most accurate images.
Virtual slides show poor stitching in Viewer
Scan camera not properly adjusted (for example, due to loose fixture)
Slide is often positioned incorrectly
Guiding fault in transport system
All individual images show a shading effect
Algorithm failed to find empty image fields
Status LEDs of a magazine column are dimming
One or more slide in a magazine in a column are misaligned in one of the magazines

Capture a reference image with a blank slide
Open the door (the SW informs you to preform this operation), then push back all
the slides within the column. Make sure to not remove a magazine as all the
parameters set to the contained slides will be erased.
