Use blast pipe B (output axial) or C (output

radial) instead of the standard blast pipe A
(see Accessories).
Alternatively Festo can offer you an inspec
S
tion as a service including relubrication.
Otherwise the DGEA−... does not require
any maintenance.
If the toothed belt is damaged:
Consult your Festo Service.

Do not modify the clamping device of the toothed belt.
S
The toothed belt does not require re−tightening.

Dismantling
Warning
A work load which falls down unexpectedly can cause injuries.
S Observe the dismantling sequence:
1. Place the cantilever arm in a stable position before dismantling it.
This requires power to be applied to the brake.
Fitting in a vertical position:
Fitting in a horizontal position: Stable position = mid−position
2. Remove these devices:
loads and adapter elements on the cantilever arm
the motor on the drive head
extensions to the drive shaft.
3. Interrupt the supply of current.
4. Then unscrew the fastening screws on the drive head.
