7 Fitting
Fitting mechanical components
Fitting in a vertical or sloping position
Please note
Masses which drop down can damage the guide pulley of the toothed belt.
S Push the cantilever arm first into its lower end position.
S Check whether shock absorber supports need to be fitted before the DGEA−...
is fastened.
For basic fitting:
Use sliding blocks type NST−... in the
S
profile grooves of the drive head (see
chapter Accessories").
If the sliding blocks are tilted, they will
slide into the groove at any position.
Use centring sleeves type ZBH−... in
S
accordance with the chapter
Accessories".
Check whether adapter plates from the
S
Festo multi−axis kit are required.
Make sure that tubing and connecting
S
accessories have sufficient space for
movement.
