Purpose of
travel:
Type of travel:
2. Start reference travel at low cantilever arm speed from the stable position in
the direction of the reference point switch.
3. Check whether the DGEA−... fulfils the following conditions:
The cantilever arm must move through the complete intended positioning
cycle.
The cantilever arm must stop as soon as it reaches a limit switch.
In the event of the sensors not responding, see their operating instructions
and the chapter Eliminating faults".
4. Start test travel limited to low dynamics.
5. Check these points on your installation:
The cantilever arm must move through the complete intended positioning
cycle.
The cantilever arm reacts as expected.
In the case of deviations from the nominal behaviour:
6. Conclude the test travel immediately.
7. Check these points on your installation:
drive package
mechanical fitting
electrical connections.
For further tests read the test points in the chapter Eliminating faults".
If the test travel is without faults:
8. Repeat the test travel several times with the speed increasing in stages until
the desired operating speed is reached.
9. Conclude the test travel.
If the work load is modified:
Make sure that the maximum loadings are not exceeded.
