10 Care and maintenance
If necessary, clean the exterior of the DGEA−... with a soft cloth.

The following cleaning agents are permitted:
soap suds or water (max. 60 °C)
all non−abrasive cleaning agents.
Make sure that the lubricating intervals are observed. If the device is seldom

used, lubrication must take place after maximum 3 years.

Note that lubrication must be carried out more frequently:

in dusty and dirty environments
with work strokes < 50 mm
at speeds > 2 m/s.
Lubricate the bearings at the lubricating

points with permitted greases.
DGEA−25/40: 1, 2, 3 and 4.
DGEA−18: 1 und 2 or 3 und 4.
Depending on design, the lubricating
points can be greased via two alternative
lubricating nipples. In this case you can
use the lubricating nipple which is more
easily accessible.
Grease gun: see Accessories", with pin
point nozzle, supplies 0.5 cm
Push the cantilever arm backwards and forwards whilst lubricating it.

Otherwise the grease cavities will not be filled evenly.
