  • Page 26 Operate your system with unlubricated compressed air, if possible. In this way, you pro- tect the environment. Festo pneumatic valves and actuators have been designed so that, if used as intended, they will not require additional lubrication and will still achieve a long service life.
  • Page 27 Incorrect supplemental oil and an oil rate in the compressed air that is too high will reduce the service life of the valve terminal. • Use Festo special oil OFSW-32 or the alternatives listed in the Festo catalogue (con- forming to DIN 51524-HLP32, basic viscosity 32 CST at 40°C).
