6.1 Preventive Maintenance
The OrigoArc 250 edw requires little maintenance in normal environment and
opperation conditions.It is only necessary to be up with the maintenance of the gasoline
engine and clean the cabinet at least once a month with compressed air under low
pressure, dry and free of oil.
After cleaning the equipment with blow dry air check:
Cables and electrical connections:
the fixing of the components.
cables, including the welding cable and any others and if any of them is faulty substitute
it.
Engine: Refer to the Engine Manufacturer's Manual for the maintenance instructions
for the engine. Check the oil level and the air filter daily. Perform the regular service
period shows in the table below.
Battery: The battery is automatically recharged during operation of the engine.
Check tightness of the connections of the terminals.
Alternator: The brushes should be checked monthly. If they are very worn should be
replaced.
Ventilation: On a regular basis check that there are no obstructions in the
aspiration/exhaust ducts of the alternator, the engine or the housing which could restrict
the flow of cooling air.
