6.2. To renew the thermal switch:
6.2.1. Remove appliance knobs and dripshield.
6.2.2. Remove wiring connections from thermal switch. Note connection
sequence.
6.2.3. Remove thermal switch retaining nuts and slide out from flange
retainer.
6.2.4. Renew thermal switch.
6.2.5. Refit in reverse order. Ensure that new switch is correctly seated flat,
on top of heater tank.
6.3. To refit the tank pressure relief ball:
6.3.1. Remove pressure relief valve.
6.3.2. Moisten ball and push firmly into inner end of relief valve.
6.3.3. Refit pressure relief valve.
7. light assembly
Read the section "important safety information" first
7.1. To renew the light assembly:
7.1.1. Lift up dripshield.
7.1.2. Remove wiring connections from light assembly. Note connection
sequence.
7.1.3. Remove light assembly retaining screw.
7.1.4. Renew light assembly.
7.1.5. Refit in reverse order. Ensure that assembly is correctly seated on
spigot in case.
