4. Troubleshooting

Read the section "important safety information" first
The Mira Elite range of pumped electric showers are fully performance tested after
assembly. In the unlikely event that you experience problems with your shower, then
the following procedures will enable you to undertake basic troubleshooting before
contacting the person responsible for installing your shower.
warninG! There are no user serviceable components beneath the cover of the
appliance. Only a competent tradesperson should remove the cover.

a = "Power" light = light illuminated (lower)
b = "oVerheaT" light = light illuminated (upper)
Malfunction
No water or very
low flow rate.
No water and
motor tone
immediately
increases.
No water and no
motor noise.

Spray plate blocked.

Supply stop valve turned
down.
Shower isolating valve
turned down or off.
Hose blocked.
 
Cistern has run out of water.
Internal pump unit faulty or
thermal trip has operated.

remedy
Remove and clean as
detailed in the
Installation, Operation
and Maintenance Guide
supplied with the
shower fittings.
Turn on.
Turn on.
Clear blockage and
refit hose.
Turn off appliance
immediately and
resolve cistern
storage difficulty.
Product will airlock
refer to Priming the
pump, Section 7,
commissioning.
Wait for internal pump
appliance to cool down.
If still faulty contact
your installer.
