16.3.2 Measuring the protective earth conductor resistance

▪ Threshold: R ≤ 0.3 Ω
▪ Test voltage: 4 V < U0 < 24 V
▪ Test current: I > 0.2 A
Test set-up
① Measuring equipment
▪ 6.1: touchable conductive part(s) that is/are not connected to the protective
earth conductor
▪ 9.1: measuring cables to the protective earth conductor and to touchable con‐
ductive parts connected to the protective earth conductor
▶ Connect measuring cables to the KaVo ARCTICA Engine.
▶ Switch on the test equipment and test the test equipment.
▶ Switch on the KaVo ARCTICA Engine.
▶ Start the test.
▶ Enter the serial number of the ARCTICA.
▶ Test the measuring points of the protective earth conductor test consecutively.
