AES67 OUTPUT

On MultiRack, an AES67 output stream is automatically created for each instance. This stream has the following
parameters:
2 channel
48 kHz sampling
1 ms packet timing
SAP and Ravenna Advertisement
Multicast destination address 239.1.x.x (Where x.x are the last two decimal digits of the
AES67 Ethernet interface IP address)
TTL:15 DSCP:34 Payload Type 98
The stream is named <Unit Name> (Unit Name is defined under System Setting->Connections)
You can open the Output entry and change the name and Multicast node IP address to any value. Note some AoIP
systems work only within specific Multicast addressing ranges, so consult the system-specific cheat sheets for more
info on that.

AES67 ADVANCED OPTIONS

INPUTS

Ignore Clock GMID - By default, MultiRack will accept sources that arrive clocked to any source, not just the clock
that's driving MultiRack. You can filter incoming streams and allow connections only to common clock sources by
turning this switch to "enable".

OUTPUTS

TTL - Outgoing packets have a Time-To-Live value assigned to them. Some networks may require this value be lower
or higher than the default of 15. Consult your IT department in the unusual case this must be changed.
